I am now studying for a degree in Fine Art at Aberystwyth University.

It was whilst studying in Penzance that I first started painting with acrylics and this new medium became the main focus of my work.

We have since returned to Wales and live in Aberystwyth, where I have studied life drawing and oil painting.

'Fire Six' was voted the public's favourite in the Ceredigion Art Society 2008 exhibition.

'May Sycamore' was selected as a finalist in a 2009 International Artist Magazine competition (April/May edition - No.66).

I was born in Leicestershire in 1964, and I am married with three daughters, and two grandchildren.

For a while I sold pencil drawings around Bradgate Country Park and also completed a number of commissions for drawings of people’s homes in the area.

In the early nineties we moved to the mid-Wales coast, where we ran our own shop, and I continued to take commissions.

Towards the end of that decade, we relocated to St.Ives in Cornwall.  I returned to education as a mature student, studying Art and Design for two years in Penzance, followed by Graphic Design and Illustration at Cornwall College.

A substantial feature article about my artwork appeared in the Aug/Sept 2009 edition (No.68) of the International Artist Magazine.
